Coming to Vincennes? Put the SR 441 bridge closure on your plan.
The Lincoln Memorial Bridge is a local connection our Vincennes customers need to plan around. Lawrence County’s official Highway Department page carries INDOT’s announcement: SR 441 at the bridge is scheduled to close around November 16, with work expected through mid-March 2027.
What the notice says
The work is for continued repairs to the bridge façade. The posted detour uses U.S. 41 and U.S. 50; local traffic may reach the closure points. Those statements describe the announced road arrangement, not a guarantee that every truck, load or permit can use every approach.
The government page does not give a publication date. We keep that separate from the planned November start and the mid-March completion estimate. Weather and construction progress can change the schedule.

Our Vincennes location is at 1511 Willow Street, with parts, truck repair and trailer repair support. A closed river crossing can affect how an Illinois-side customer reaches a planned stop, even when the destination itself has not moved.
